This smoked tuna stew with chunks of smoked tuna and tender carrots and stable ingredients like onions and tomatoes, this is a very easy meal that is sure to please everyone.
This smoked tuna stew is very easy and rewarding.
All you need is
a big fat smoked tuna, cut into chunks,
tomatoes,
a few aromatics like onions and garlic,
carrots, and seasoning of choice (I used chicken stock cube and nutmeg, but you can go with your flow).
I believe what makes this dish is the aromatics and the carrots which are added later and gets sweetened. You got an earthly sweet taste from the smoked tuna, carrots and onions.
I found this joke some time ago on the web “What music do chefs play in the kitchen? Wok N Roll”. I believe this smoked tuna stew fits it.
This cabbage stew also makes great use of smoked tuna and these Tuna yam balls are the best to have happened to the yam balls industry.
