Knead for 10 -12 minutes to achieve a smooth dough. It will be soft and slightly sticky. If dough is too sticky to work with, add the other 1/4 cup. Anything beyond that, will lead to a dense bread.

In a small bowl, combine the margarine or butter, salt,parsley and minced garlic. Cut dough into desired pieces; dip into butter mixture. Layer into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Meanwhile preheat oven to 180°C or 350°F 15 minutes till the rising time is up. Bake at 180°C or 350°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown or done. Bread stays soft for days.
