Rice water is a Ghanaian breakfast normally served with evaporated or powdered milk. It is similar to rice pudding but lighter as water is used in cooking.
I love rice water, it is one of my morning comfort foods. The kind I want when I don’t want to do anything but lie on the couch all day changing channels and worry about those house wives drama.
Or why the television stations aren’t showing anything pleasing
Or whether to read the newspapers or dream of what to cook next?
Warning – Rice water is not the kind of meal to have when you want to have a fruitful day. Or it’s just me. It makes you sluggish and procrastinate the day’s plan till later.
I will save it for the rainy day
